OceanLab is a vocal trance group consisting of Jonathan Grant, Tony McGuinness, Paavo Siljamäki (comprising Above & Beyond) and Justine Suissa, a singer who has also collaborated with other artists such as Chicane and Armin van buuren.

Steeped in Balearic brilliance, ‘Sirens Of The Sea’ is a mix of blissed out epics and dance floor cuts. An album of depth, variety and serene beauty, showcasing a level of songwriting and production rarely witnessed within electronic music, and already drawing comparisons with bands such as Zero 7 and Everything But The Girl.

When Armin van Buuren created the award-winning album, ‘Shivers’, he set the bar very high, making it difficult to trump any future releases. In producing his third artist album, ‘Imagine’, Armin’s not simply matched the quality of ‘Shivers’; he’s surpassed it in every regard, showing he has become a mature Dj, and most of all, producer.

Arguably his best release to date, ‘Imagine’ opens with a track that sets you up for something big. The anticipation created by the intro means that expectations for the tracks to follow are high, but it’s ok because the rest of the album doesn’t disappoint. (more…)
